YOU WANT YOUR WEDDING TO FEEL MORE LIKE A MEMORY AND LESS LIKE A PHOTOSHOOT

Based in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio, we specialize in documenting weddings and elopements with a timeless, romantic approach — focusing on the intimate emotions, quiet in-between candid moments, and subtle details that make your day uniquely yours. My work leans into a soft, moody aesthetic that feels both nostalgic and cinematic, preserving the beauty of your story with depth and intention using a tincture of 35mm film, medium format, super 8 video, drone, and digital photography. As wedding photographers, we’ve shot weddings and elopements across Ohio, Michigan, New York, Chicago, Oregon, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, California, and Washington D.C. — and we're happily available to travel anywhere you want us to.

What People Are Saying

“Nothing less than five stars. If you want boring photos, go somewhere else. Nicole gets you really gorgeous shots that don't look like anyone else. After our engagement photos (lifestyle photos at our apartment) turned out to be my favorite photos I had ever seen, we hired her (and Tyler) straight away to do our wedding pics too. It was a no doubt, no brainer decision. I told her we wanted our photos to look like how Lana Del Rey sounds and she really delivered on that. She was on time, clear with her communication, and we felt really comfortable around her which was important for getting those tender, honest, raw shots.”

“Nicole is not only an amazing photographer, she is just an amazing person to know! Her photography style is beautiful, unique and really captures the vibe. She photographed our summer camp wedding this August and the photos really showcase the beauty of the camp and were exactly what we were looking for. We loved hanging with Nicole (and Tyler!), they made taking photos fun! Can't say enough good things!!!!!”

— Emily + Collin

“Nicole is one of the most talented people I know! She's an artist who creates the most magical, elegant, stunning, unique, and artful photography. She's done a number of projects for myself, my friends, and my family over the years, including photographing my wedding, two of my sisters weddings, and my best friends wedding. I seriously recommend her to everyone, I can't say enough about how great she is to work with!”

A letter from the artist…

At this point I’ve been behind the camera, chasing light for more years than not.
I’ve traveled thousands of miles, got on lots of planes, and was up before the sun for the sake of a meaningful photograph since I was thirteen. Every image is a journal entry from my imagination.

I’m an Ohio native wedding and elopement photographer and travel worldwide for my work. I capture the ordinary everydayness, documenting exactly what I see. You’ll find me photographing my own memories on film too with my favorite Yashica point and shoot around my neck and a pocket full of moody Acros film.

FAQs

  • Sometimes I set things up, but most of the time I photograph exactly what I see. No posing, no fake crap — just candid, real moments in natural light, mostly on film. My approach is raw and documentary, with a moody, cinematic edge. There is magic everywhere if you know what you're looking for.

  • We're based in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio, and travel nationally for most of our weddings. We've shot elopements and weddings in Ohio, Michigan, Chicago, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Oregon, California, Washington, Indiana, New York, Texas, and North Carolina. Our passports are ready and there is a heavy discount for bucket list destinations! (Italy is always a good idea.) Here's a look at my current travel schedule in case our paths align and you want to meet us there.

  • We use a tincture of our latest model DSLR Canons and lenses, to our favorite five dollar point and shoot film camera. Equal parts the authenticity of 35mm film and the control over digital.

  • Of course! I get it, photography is not cheap, even for me. I don’t mind tailoring a specific payment plan to best suit each persons needs. I’m cool with that.

  • You will receive the high res files via a online viewing gallery along with printing rights. Copyrights will always remain property of the photographer.

High quality prints are only guaranteed when purchased through the PicTime gallery and highly encouraged.

  • My vintage gear is always hand tested several times before using it out in the wild, and always have extra batteries on hand and backups. I also copy images to two SD cards simultaneously on each digital camera. After the event I back them up on two hard drives until the gallery is finished and delivered to the client. Film is personally delivered to my trusted lab in Cleveland, Ohio.

  • I’ll aim to do an equal amount. I’m partial to black and white photography. There is such a romance in black and white, but some things just resonate deeper in color. I’ll pick film stock and tone for each image to best reflect the mood and moment.

  • Please do! If you want to share your wedding images with the world I’ll highly encourage it! I just ask to be notified when and who you submit to and I’m credited correctly.

  • Practical Magic or Hocus Pocus of course.
