Sara + Marcos || a backyard wedding in Columbus, Ohio

Sara + Marcos wanted something "behind the scenes", and documentary. They didn't want to do the dances, or speeches, or shove cake in each other's face. They wanted something unscripted, casual, and authentic to them.

I'm a firm believer that sometimes what didn't work out for you, really worked out for you. And I'm convinced Sara + Marcos venue fell through the week of their wedding so they could actually get married in their backyard instead. On such short notice, guests contributed a few chairs from their own homes and they wed in their backyard with 40 people. It was casual, intimate, and meaningful. Later friends and family gathered at CURE Coffee + Cocktails Bar owned by friends. No agenda, no bouquet toss, just good food trucks, good music, good vibes. Here's proof.
