Brennan & Kayla || A New York City Courthouse + Brunch Elopement
In the heart of New York City, this boho-chic couple chose an intimate courthouse elopement — returning to the city where their story first began, and where we all met for the very first time. Their day felt simple and intentional, rooted in connection rather than tradition.
After exchanging vows, we wandered the streets for quiet portraits, letting the city move around us while they settled into the moment together. Later, they gathered with family for brunch at a trendy café and coffee shop, sharing good food, strong coffee, and unhurried conversation around the table. No formal reception, no packed timeline — just being together.
This New York City courthouse elopement was honest and deeply personal. A reminder that weddings don’t have to follow a script to be meaningful — sometimes they’re just about returning to the place where it all started, surrounded by the people who matter most.
