We cashed in our originally scheduled rainy gloomy day for this magical, warm gloomy day, and I’m so glad we did. The park was dark, and the trees were at their October prime color. Lauren and Kayvon just walked around and let the moody gloom take us where it wanted. We talked about late twenty year old things and also the stress of planning weddings, and thankful for our helpful moms. But I wanted to make sure in this session they took ten, or fifteen minutes to just breathe. Fall in the arms of your partner, lean your head on each other and take a moment to really enjoy each other. Listen to their heart beat and really savor the time. It was beautiful watching them do this while I worked my way around them, capturing different angles and emotions. I’ve always wanted to create genuine photos. The kind that make you feel something and everything all at once. I live for these.
