Updated some shots of Landon for both of our portfolios. As much as I love structure and planning for a peace of mind, it's nice to go into some of these shoots without a single plan. It seems more like grabbing a drink with a friend who I haven't seen in a year, and taking pictures in the lobby while we wait for a table, and hanging under the trees next to where our cars are parked. My shoots are never just a transaction. I always feel something and can admire something about everyone if they let me in. (And take their portrait.) I think that's how I fall in love with people. Because when my camera is up, their guard is generally down. And it's just an honest moment when two genuine souls are just fluent in each others language. I love that.
